Day 336-Beer 336 Wild huckleberry Wheat Lager, The Great Northern Brewing Co. Whitefish Montana

you know what I say if you have to add fruit to make it taste good ...... well this one fits. It poured a hazy golden colour with one finger of white head that lasts forever and a day. The aroma has a sour background with lots of wheat and bread yeast and a hint of sweetness from the huckleberrys. The taste is bready up front with lots of fruity sweetness almost blueberry like with a hint of spicy hops to round it out. Not my cup of ... but someone that likes fruity tasting brews would probably enjoy this one 2.9 out of 5
