Day 358 Beer 358 Helios Farmhouse Ale, Victory Brewing Co. Downington Pennsylvania

Tonight's brew is a saison or farmhouse ale. It poured a golden yellow with lots of white head that left a nice coating of lacing. The aroma has a lemon background with soem bread yeasts and sweet malt. The taste is typical saison wheat/bread yeast a hint of lemon zest some herbal hops and a peppery dry finish. Saison has become one of my favourite styles but this one just doesn't do it. 3.2 out of 5. 7 more bottles of beer on the wall......
