Day 340-Beer 340 Fighting Billy Bock, Minhas Brewery, Monroe Wisconsin

Just as an aside Minhas has been brewing beers since 1845, the name of last night's pils. This one pours a very dark amber with a copper hue. It only produce one finger of head but it left some nice sticky lacing. The aroma has hints of chocolate, nuts dark fruit and burnt sugar. The flavour is sweet malts, dark fruit with a hint of spicy hops. Overall a good brew, very tasty and refreshing 3.5 out of 5
