Day 226-Beer 226 Dakota Pearl Ale, Ramblin RoadBrewery Farm, La Salette, Ontario
This is a new one for my books. This brew is made using the rinse from potato chips. It is listed as a Fruit/Vegetable Beer. It pours a clear golden colour with adequate head and good carbonation. The aroma has a grassy smell with a hint of lemon and the earthy smell of potato. The flavour is typical lager, sweet malt up front with a slight hint of hop and a nice dry finish, but I couldn't taste the effect of the potato. Over all easy drinking but nothing special 3.3 out of 5. Thanks Brenda and Danielle for the brew.
